Anti - Social Behaviour in the school holidays |
||
|
Dyfed-Powys Police are aware of an increase in reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) across our communities during the current school holidays. While we recognise that school breaks are an important time for young people to relax and spend time with friends, we ask parents, guardians and carers to please be aware of where their children are, who they are with, and how they are behaving within the community. Recent reports have included: Groups congregating in public areas and causing disturbance Damage to property Noise nuisance late into the evening Littering and disorder in parks and residential areas Anti-social behaviour can have a significant impact on residents, particularly elderly and vulnerable members of our community. We are committed to addressing concerns and will be carrying out additional patrols in identified hotspot areas. We encourage young people to enjoy their holidays responsibly and respectfully. There are many positive activities and youth provisions available locally, and we would urge families to make use of these where possible. If you experience anti-social behaviour: In an emergency or if a crime is in progress, call 999 For non-emergency matters, contact us on 101 You can also report concerns online via our website: Report antisocial behaviour | Dyfed-Powys Police We thank the community for their continued support and cooperation in helping to keep Dyfed-Powys a safe place for everyone.
